My treatment philosophy is rooted in my personal experiences. Growing up in West Chester, I participated in several sports and activities. A spinal fracture at age fourteen led me to my first experience with chiropractic, which was successful in fast tracking my recovery so I could return to sport.
I attended nearby Malvern Preparatory School where I was fortunate enough to receive treatment and education from one the best high school sports medicine departments in the country. Following my time at Malvern, I attended the University of New Haven to continue my passion of playing football. Several concussions later, I decided to put my health and future well-being first and transferred to West Chester University. After struggling with side-effects of multiple career ending injuries, I developed my passion - understanding what makes the body work and how to improve my own quality of life. This passion led me to New York Chiropractic College, where I honed the skills needed to help those around me live happier, healthier, active lives.
One of my greatest learning experiences during my time at New York Chiropractic College, was the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Honors Program at the Buffalo Veteran Hospital. This program gave me the opportunity to provide our military veterans with comprehensive chiropractic services, managing complex cases including chronic pain, co-morbidities, polypharmacy, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
My time as an athlete initiated this passion in movement and functional training. Years of exercise, personal training, and rehabilitation has given me great appreciation for the importance of exercise as medicine. It is my personal goal to help each of my patients improve their current state of health whether that be an acute injury, chronic pain, or those who want to achieve their highest level of performance
For as long as I can remember, health and wellness have been a passion of mine. I began playing competitive volleyball at the age of thirteen, and my experiences as an athlete only made my passion grow stronger. I began to understand how much my overall health impacted how I played, and it pushed me to learn more about exercise, nutrition, and the way the human body worked.
I attended Pope John Paul II High School where my life as a student-athlete took off. Throughout high school, I played for a National Club Volleyball Team, where I traveled the country to compete. This devotion eventually gave me the opportunity to play at the collegiate level at West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 2014 to 2018. I balanced my move for volleyball with my passion for health, as I received my Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
After graduating from West Chester University, I enrolled at Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly known as New York Chiropractic College). I received my Doctorate in Chiropractic in December of 2022 and began to pursue my passion of providing holistic healthcare. I've always enjoyed being around kids, so I began researching pediatric chiropractic care. This quickly become something I wanted to do. I went on to serve as the president of the Pediatric and Family practice club at Northeast College. I continued my specialization with postgraduate education in pediatrics and pregnancy. I am Certified in Webster Technique, designed and highly effective in treating pregnant women. While I provide care for all ages this technique allows me to provide exceptional service for pediatric and pregnant demographics.
Whether it is reaching athletic goals, achieving developmental goals, preparing to bring life into the world or simply just getting through each day without pain, I provide individualized care to get your feeling your best. It is an honor and privilege to be able to provide safe and effective chiropractic care to the West Chester communuty.
I am a graduate of Cortiva Institute. Immediately drawn to therapy, I began my continued education specializing in Integrated Manual Therapy.
My sessions blend Orthopedic and Myoskeletal techniques. What does this mean? Through balancing the Kinetic Chain, the goal is to decrease pain, increase range of motion, and improve mobility. My massage is is great for chronic pain, athletes, recent injuries or surgeries that have decreased mobility, as well as providing relaxation for everyday stress.
My favorite place to be is in the classroom learning, or sharing knowledge with other therapists as a teaching assistant. I love to travel as much as possible for massage education to gain experience and constantly improve my skills.
